Delete from the app
- Open Date The Real Me and go to the Passport tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Tell us why if you like, then confirm when prompted.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your profile and account are removed from Date The Real Me immediately and are no longer visible to anyone.
- Your matches, chats and planned dates are removed with your account.
- Deletion is permanent. You can’t restore your account afterwards.
- We may keep certain information, including verification records, where the law requires or permits it, for example for fraud prevention, safety and legal compliance. We keep it securely, with restricted access, only for as long as necessary for those purposes, and then destroy it. Biometric data is destroyed on the schedule in our Biometric Data Policy. Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. If you have a Plus or Gold subscription, cancel it in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Deleting your account does not stop Apple or Google billing you.
Can’t access the app?
Email privacy@datetherealme.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address on your account or including the phone number on your account. We will verify that the request comes from you and then delete the account as described above.
